1) With a member of your family, find and list 5 different horizontal lines and 5 different vertical lines inside your home, in your neighborhood, in your work place, etc.
2) Let's say that the gound is the line y = 0 (or the x-axis). Then, let's say that we will measure space in feet. Specify two horizontal lines from #1 and approximate their equations (in feet).
